An outstanding wine produced from our old vine shiraz.
The Kyeema Vineyard has an enviable reputation for rewarding us with outstanding fruit from its amazing old vine shiraz.
The shiraz is a clone taken from old South Australian cuttings. The combination of age and clone make it unique within the Canberra region.
Kyeema Shiraz has an impressive pedigree of 18 trophies and over 70 show awards since 1994. The 2007 reserve shiraz is a typical Kyeema with spice, pepper and lots of rich, perfectly ripe dark fruit. This is a mouth filling wine with silky smooth tannins, underlying fine oak and a lingering finish.
This wine will reward those with the patience to put it aside for a few years.
